In designing the scheme for the drawing room in this medieval property, we set out to create a contemporary look, which was sympathetic to and enhanced the existing historic features. We combined smoked oak boards with Bath stone and classic linens in soft purples, blues and greys to create a relaxing retreat for our clients.
“We have appointed Woodhouse and Law to advise on the interior design of two rooms in a listed building that required careful thought to meet our demanding brief, while not affecting the character of the house. The design is thorough, intelligent and well presented, nothing has been too much trouble, and it has been a pleasure to work with you.”
