Gardens

The garden design team at Woodhouse and Law comprises director Nick Woodhouse and designer Fiona Daymond.

The two have worked together for ten years on a wealth of projects here in Bath and Bristol, but also further afield in the West Country, the Cotswolds, London, Brighton and the island of Mallorca. The brief on each project has been as varied as the location – from city roof terraces and courtyards to rural family homes. One theme resonates through each however – the passion to deliver a project that suits the client’s lifestyle and reflects their own style and character.

Having trained as a garden designer at the renowned English Gardening School in Chelsea, Nick went on to run a successful gardening company in London, whilst also gaining his RHS qualifications at Capel Manor College at Regents Park. In 2009, he launched Woodhouse and Law with partner John Law, looking to break down boundaries between inside and out. He is also a freelance writer, contributing a regular garden column for Bath Life, where he works hard to support local projects, gardens and fellow lovers of all things horticultural.

Following a career in theatre and event management, Fiona took on a new direction in her career, undertaking a post-graduate diploma in Residential Landscape Architecture at the Oxford College of Garden Design. Having graduated with a distinction, Fiona went on to become a finalist at Grand Designs Live Garden Designer of the Year before starting at Woodhouse and Law.
