Our clients on this project have very happy memories of their time in the Italian Mediterranean, which they visit every year. They were keen to make these memories last that bit longer by creating their very own piece of that special part of the world in their garden space. The billowing silver foliage of olive trees, lavender and santolina contrasts with the dark green vertical columns of cypress. Further splashes of colour are provided by the likes of agapanthus, cephalaria and alliums. Aged terracotta planters were imported from the Mediterranean to create real centre pieces and height interest. This garden was at the front of the property, so became a talking point in the village in no time – we really enjoyed getting to meet all of the wonderful people in the village who often popped by to say hello and discuss the plants.
“We were delighted with Nick’s advice and professional knowledge at the initial planning stage. This was followed by his hands-on approach during the building stage and excellent choice of plants which has given us a unique Mediterranean style garden at our house near the Cotswold hills.”
