No.15 Great Pulteney Street

Celebrating playful luxury at a new boutique hotel on the grandest street in Bath

On first visiting the hotel, we were taken by the beauty of the raw, stripped-back plaster exposed throughout the building and the patina generated over the centuries. It was this which inspired our bathroom scheme, where we looked to combine the paired down with the luxurious.

In a ground floor bedroom design, we celebrate the curious by combining interesting combinations of materials, colour and texture with playful twists. The starting point is Tracy Kendall’s Inventory wallpaper, complemented with an over-sized sunshine-hued headboard above the bed, tall pendant lights and design-led statement furniture.

We were commissioned by the new owners of this new luxurious, yet idiosyncratic boutique hotel on Great Pulteney Street in Bath to create intriguing, one-of-a-kind bedrooms with vibrancy and a sense of fun at their core.

Our schemes reference Bath and its rich history, as well as the city’s current and future status as a creative and entrepreneurial hub. We hugely value the work of local craftspeople and combined individual pieces by local artists and designers with international makers.
