We were thrilled to have a recent restoration of a 1730s country cottage featured in the February issue of 25 Beautiful Homes magazine.
A second home for our clients, whose main residence is a contemporary property in Surrey, they’d fallen in love with rural Somerset and were inspired by the laid-back style of one of their favourite places to visit nearby, Babington House.
They wanted that same country, cosy, welcoming feel with a sense of fun, asking to be pushed out of their usual neutral comfort zone, with plenty of bold colour and pattern incorporated in the schemes.
It was also important the cottage still felt personal to them, so we made sure to incorporate some of their existing pieces, such as a leather sofa and Chesterfield, into the space.
We loved working on this project, so if you fancy injecting some Soho House interiors style into your home, make sure you pick up a copy next time you’re on the supermarket run!
